Top 10 Fun Workouts

Believe it or not, even health and fitness professionals reach plateaus and search for new ideas to infuse the fun back into a workout. This week, I thought I would share some of my favorite fast, fun, and fabulously effective workouts.

Getting a Workout Done with Fun

Working out shouldn’t have to feel like grueling work – it should, however, create a sense of enjoyment AND provide you with a physical challenge. My top ten list accomplishes both.

I love each one of these workouts for various reasons. I get my tough workout done in the early morning – combo of light cardio, core, and strength training – before the day gets away from me and I have to calm the chaos. BUT – I also enjoy taking active breaks during my workday and I look for ideas to inspire fast calorie blasting bursts of exercise that boost my energy and help me refocus.

The days can be long and filled with unexpected riddles to solve, but your workout shouldn’t require agonizing effort. Enjoy the ability to move and know that while you are burning some calories, you are also boosting your energy. It’s a win-win.
